(Adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776)

The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. --Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the legislative powers, incapable of annihilation, have returned to the people at large for their exercise; the state remaining in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states; for that purpose obstructing the laws for naturalization of foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migration hither, and raising the conditions of new appropriations of lands.

He has obstructed the administration of justice, by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers.

He has made judges dependent on his will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of our legislature.

He has affected to render the military independent of and superior to civil power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation:

For protecting them, by mock trial, from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states:

For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing taxes on us without our consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury:

For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses:

For abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government, and enlarging its boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule in these colonies:

For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments:

For suspending our own legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated government here, by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burned our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian savages, whose known rule of warfare, is undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have we been wanting in attention to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace friends.

We, therefore, the representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent states, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do. And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

What is the book about?

"Acorn Planned Parenthood NPR Medicaid VOTER FRAUD The New Jersey educational association Labor Unions Hailed by David Weigel in Slate as having “had more of an impact on the 2012 election than any journalist,” James O’Keefe is young, brash, and provocative: a new breed of guerrilla reporter for the twenty-first century. Read our lips: we do not want amnesty

That is the last line of a good article over at American Thinker today by Karin McQuillan.

Karin also says:

"President Bush let down his base by spending money like a drunken sailor. They stayed home.

Obama lost Democrat voters in 2012, but he won anyway because an estimated 6 million white voters stayed home compared to 2008. Who were these election drop-outs? Rural, working class Republicans. What issues did these voters care about? They are deficit hawks, and want to see government spending come under control - not a swelling of the welfare state to support illegals. They hate illegal immigration. They want good education and a solvent Medicare system. They want to feel listened to by their own party. And they will not vote for a party that betrays them, no matter how awful the other side is.

The Democrats want "comprehensive" immigration reform because it legalizes eleven (or is it twenty?) millionillegals, brings in their families and on top of that, doubles the number of legal immigrants. Plus the CBO says 75% of illegal immigration would continue. This will create a record number of foreign-born legals and illegals, mostly Spanish-speaking, mostly third world, mostly a net drain on taxpayers. We are talking about an estimated 56 million people within a decade. According to the Center for Immigration studies, "There has never been a period in American history when the foreign-born share grew this fast."

The immigration bill will permanently wipe away America as we know it. Democrats believe this will mean a permanent voting majority for their big government welfare state. They are right. We will become Republicans' worst nightmare: a nanny state with a permanent Democrat majority who feel entitled to live on taxpaying families.

Hopes for a good economic future for America's blacks and working class will be sunk, as they are forced to compete for low wage jobs. Hopes for constitutionally limited government will be sunk, as we get an unassimilated influx of third world people who do not understand our republic and the principals for which it stands." 


I have NOTHING against Mexicans or other Latin American people.  There is Spanish blood in my own family:  nieces and a nephew who are Irish-Peruvian.

I love Mexican food, Latin American people are hard working - and many are Catholic and family oriented.  I have NO problem with LEGAL immigrants from South America, Mexico or Spain (etc.)



I, and millions of other center-right Americans, only have a problem with ILLEGAL immigrants - and the OPEN BORDER policies/plans of the current Dino-Rino regimists.

Its NOT just Democrat-communists; it is traitorous Republicans also like Marco Rubio and the "gang of 8".

America MUST secure the borders FIRST and THEN fix up their immigration policies.  It is as SIMPLE as that - and it CAN be simple: check out Greta Van Susteren's 1 page plan here from Gretawire. (see?)

As Karin mentions in her article, from May 2013; Heritage advises what the The Fiscal Cost of Unlawful Immigrants and Amnesty to the U.S. Taxpayer will be:

"Executive Summary Unlawful immigration and amnesty for current unlawful immigrants can pose large fiscal costs for U.S. taxpayers. Government provides four types of benefits and services that are relevant to this issue:
  • Direct benefits. These include Social Security, Medicare, unemployment insurance, and workers’ compensation.
  • Means-tested welfare benefits. There are over 80 of these programs which, at a cost of nearly $900 billion per year, provide cash, food, housing, medical, and other services to roughly 100 million low-income Americans. Major programs include Medicaid, food stamps, the refundable Earned Income Tax Credit, public housing, Supplemental Security Income, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
  • Public education. At a cost of $12,300 per pupil per year, these services are largely free or heavily subsidized for low-income parents.
  • Population-based services. Police, fire, highways, parks, and similar services, as the National Academy of Sciences determined in its study of the fiscal costs of immigration, generally have to expand as new immigrants enter a community; someone has to bear the cost of that expansion.
"The typical unlawful immigrant is 34 years old. After amnesty, this individual will receive government benefits, on average, for 50 years. Restricting access to benefits for the first 13 years after amnesty therefore has only a marginal impact on long-term costs.

If amnesty is enacted, the average adult unlawful immigrant would receive $592,000 more in government benefits over the course of his remaining lifetime than he would pay in taxes."

There is a lot more at Heritage, here's their conclusion:

"The United States offers enormous economic opportunities and societal benefits. Countless more people would immigrate to the U.S. if they had the opportunity. Given this context, the U.S. must be selective in its immigration policy. Policymakers must ensure that the interaction of welfare and other financial transfer programs with immigration does not expand the fiscally dependent population, thereby imposing large costs on American society.

Current immigration policies with respect to both lawful and unlawful immigration encourage the entry of a disproportionate number of poorly educated immigrants into the U.S. As these low-skill immigrants (both lawful and unlawful) take up residence, they impose a substantial tax burden on U.S. taxpayers. The benefits received by unlawful and low-skill immigrant households exceed taxes paid at each age level; at no point do these households pay more in taxes than they receive in benefits.

Current immigration practices, both lawful and unlawful, operate like a system of transnational welfare outreach, bringing millions of fiscally dependent individuals into the U.S. This policy needs to be changed. U.S. immigration policy should encourage high-skill immigration and strictly limit low-skill immigration. In general, government policy should limit immigration to those who will be net fiscal contributors, avoiding those who will increase poverty and impose new costs on overburdened U.S. taxpayers."

Um, hell-ooooo, Bueller?!?  America is already BROKE right now! 

What will happen to her if the House of Representatives does decide to hear and pass the horrible gang of 8" immigration bill?

The end of America is what happens.  That is path ol' Rubio and his buds have the USA on right now? Pure crap, it Grants Amnesty Without Closed Border!

hey goofballs, wake up: capitalism doesn't "kill" people

Two books for the America haters like Haruhi Suzumiya who recently commented on a November 26, 2011 post of mine about communism:  Haruhi thinks more people die under capitalism.

WHAT?  Hey HARUHI and others who think capitalism is "bad".

WAKE UP! Go learn TRUTH and HISTORY. 

To understand American history, start with The 5000 Year Leap or The Making of America.

To understand economics - try a little Milton Friedman Capitalism and Freedom or Free to Choose which one reviewer says "Free to Choose" (1980) is a great companion to Friedman's ten hour video presentation by the same name that appeared on PBS in the early eighties to rave reviews and some of the highest ratings in PBS history. The video series was extremely well done and taken right from this book. Friedman explains how and why markets work, why minimum wage statutes hurt instead of help unskilled labor (they price entry level or "training positions" out of the market) and why the Great Depression happened (protectionist tariffs like Smoot-Hawley devastating trade between nations was the primary reason).

Like Hayek and von Mises before him, Friedman explodes the Keynesian mythology that government spending is actually good for the economy. Moreover, this book is written for the layman. You don't need a PhD in economics or a Nobel Prize (both of which Professor Friedman has) to understand this work. It is clear, concise and cogently written.

If you want to understand why the market is ineluctable, this is a must read...and if you get the chance, I highly recommend the companion video series - some of the best work done on explaining why the free market works and planned/controlled economies fail.

It as timely today (despite the dated references) because the free market still works (it always will) and command/controlled economies always fail...this book tells why."

Hope this post can be the start of clearing your brain of some of the cobwebs of Leftist college teaching.  You have been indoctrinated by Leftism - I can tell.  Try to SNAP out of it.

Islam threatens YOU personally

Do you fully Understand the threat that is Islam?

"Most Americans would agree that terrorism is a threat, but few understand violent jihad in its proper context. Terrorism is one of the primary ways that Western nations are softened to Islamists' stealthier tactics which involve gradual infiltration and subversion of a society's foundational religiopolitical, military, legal, educational, and media institutions.

The Muslim Brotherhood refer to their strategy in America as a "Civilization-Jihadist Process,” and their work in the US as “a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their [westerners'] hands and the hands of the believers [true followers of Allah] so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

Unbeknownst to many Americans, the "Civilization-Jihad" in the US began in 1963 with the establishment of the first Muslim Brotherhood front group in North America, the Muslim Students Association (MSA). Fifty years later, there are hundreds of MSA chapters on US college campuses, multiplied numbers of prominent Muslim Brotherhood front groups, and a large yet undetermined number of individuals affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah and other US-designated terrorist groups working in national, state, and local government, many at the highest levels.

The freedoms Americans have taken for granted since our nation’s Founding are being systematically undermined from within by an enemy that has penetrated every sector of the Federal bureaucracy, including our national security, intelligence, military, law enforcement, and diplomatic agencies and the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of our Government. The clandestine jihad has made enormous strides in America since 9/11, due in large part to the willful blindness of national leaders who have focused all of their energies on terrorism prevention and winning the kinetic war while ignoring the more insidious, growing threat."
