maybe only Mr. Trump is allowed to ask

  • Donald Trump, millionaire (billionaire? not sure) has asked TheWon to release his birth certificate this week.

  • American Thinker says "This issue isn't going away, no matter what tricks Obama partisans in the media deploy, because at its base, it is a matter of transparency (and lack thereof). Why should the American public be denied access to basic documentation, including birth records, college records, and the like, that would be required for any job applicant aspiring to a responsible position? The Obama lickspittles in the media have no good answer."

  • Some comments from the AT article:

  • “The Donald is just liberal enough and has enough celebrity to get the attention needed for this and he used it brilliantly. I'm sure the liberal media is in shock. I think Trump is as worried as the rest of us about the direction this countries going and instead of sitting on his hands he decided to do something about it.”

  • “Trump is in a position to impact the 2012 election... he can say things and do things that other candidates can't, just because of who he is. He is rich beyond what any of us can imagine... and he likes to have fun, so he is having it at Obama's expense and driving the leftist media mad with it. He is going to make the ObamaNOTS defend the birth certificate... and have fun doing it. His point with the certificate he produced (within one hour) has created exactly the same questions that others are asking about Obama's produced hospital certificate. So those who are attacking The Donald for what he produced are actually making his arguement for Obama to produce his actual certificate of live birth from the State of Hawaii.”

  • The whoop-dee-doo all occurred this week because Mr. Trump raised his questions on "The View" and Fox's "O'Reilly Factor" and elsewhere.... The Donald is not backing down and embraces his right to ask legitimate questions!

  • This even got mention down here in NZ by Larry at NewsTalk ZB. Larry, an expert on American politics (huh? hardly) stated this is a "fringe" topic. Really Larry? So Americans are not allowed to even ask for confirmation of credentials from the person selected to temporarily occupy the people's white house are actually legimate? This isn't worth asking? Really? Try again...

  • If someone opens their mind, is capable of researching a topic via the internet, and does not fall for lies and innuendo, the answer to this question was actually provided by O himself. The answer hidden in plain sight: he's not eligible.

  • How did I reach that conclusion and why would this be "fringe" position, Larry? The United States Constitution has these requirements for someone to occupy the highest position in the Federal Government, the President. If you've never seen them, here they are: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

  • What does this mean? * Explanation from the U.S. Senate: "This clause requires that in order to take the oath of office a president must be 35, a resident within the United States for 14 years, and a natural-born citizen. This last requirement raises the question of whether someone born to American parents outside of the United States would be eligible to hold the office."

  • Why are these details important? Because of O's own admission as I blogged about last year as described at Obama Release Your Records: "It is important to understand that we are focusing on what is a "natural born Citizen" under Article II which specifies the requirements to be President and not on what a "Citizen" is under the 14th Amendment or under some Congressional Act which does not relate to Article II of our Constitution regarding natural born Citizenship. Obama, while having his mother's U.S. citizenship generation, is missing that of his father's, for his father was a British subject/citizen at the time of Obama's birth. He therefore cannot be a "natural born Citizen," even if Obama was born in Hawaii."

  • Donald Trump has educated himself. Good. Now he asks O to release his birth certificate - if one exists. At some point, someone will explain to Mr. Trump, it doesn't really matter if there is a birth certificate: the "father" O currently claims to have: IS A BRITISH CITIZEN. O is NOT QUALFIED to be POTUS. Period.

  • Yep, that also means LOOOTS of covering up by many people has been and continues to g on -- to keep their guy squattin' in the White House. Scary thought there...

  • How exactly is all this "fringe" again, Larry? Does something smell? If its not fringe, its fraud...and I can smell it all the way down here in NZ.

  • How about you, Larry? You're supposed to be someone keen for the truth... Got questions?

  • Sorry... apparently only Mr. Trump is allowed to ask...
