Auckland NZ harbour cruise on the Waipa Delta

Yesterday we went to Glen Eden station

took the train 1/2 hour to downtown Auckland view inside downtown Britomart station above we went on the Waipa Delta paddleboat (stock photo above)

for 2 hour lunch cruise of the harbour weather was a tad overcast at sea we saw some interesting harbour sites anyway hot chocolate for starters Then a "hot plate" (literally) lunch where the food is presented on a sizzling hot square stone, still cooking... one takes a knife, cuts bite size pieces, turning over until finally cooked... so we had to work for our lunch ...! Shane had chicken with brie and cranberries (top) and I had salmon, 2 shrimp, some french fries (bottom) and we shared a salad. Yum a misty shot of harbour bridge & Auckland Sky Tower
Shane on deck
