What part of the 2nd amendment do you not understand? It is NOT to protect hunting. It is about DEFENSE. You aren't in the NRA, your bogus "argument" for less guns proves you are a leftist, communist liar.
Perhaps Thomas Sowell can help you understand why banning MORE guns does not work:
"Guns are not the problem. People are the problem — including people who are determined to push gun-control laws, either in ignorance of the facts or in defiance of the facts.
There is innocent ignorance and there is invincible, dogmatic, and self-righteous ignorance. Every tragic mass shooting seems to bring out examples of both among gun-control advocates."
Have you ever been to Chicago? I highly doubt it because you have no idea what you are talking about. Its a dangerous place where criminals HAVE GUNS already. Chicago lefties coddles the crims and instead bans guns for the peaceful, legal, law abiding citizens - so they CAN NOT defend themselves.
Why do you want to NOT allow people to defend themselves - especially from mentally deranged nuts like Adam Lanza? His mother acquired guns legally. She knew her son was nuts, yet she didn't keep him safely away from the guns. Sandy Hook shooting is HER FAULT and because her son was nuts. Sandy Hook was LEFTISTS' fault, as well, for closing down mental institutions. Mrs. Lanza had nowhere to institutionalize her son - and he should have been locked up.
Ted Cruz (R) Texas explains some 'banning' proposal truths:
Mr. Levinson at AT has some good points in Never Let a Dead Child Go To Waste:
"Barack Obama, Dianne Feinstein, Michael Bloomberg, Andrew Cuomo, and their cohorts followed Rahm Emanuel's advice to "never let a good crisis go to waste" when they used the Sandy Hook shooting to renew their assault on the Bill of Rights. Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell added, in effect, that one should never let a dead child go to waste if one can exploit him or her for political gain.
"...the good thing about Newtown is, it was so horrific that I think it galvanized Americans to a point where the intensity on our side is going to match the intensity on their side."
