Knish explains addiction to anti-Americanism

Once a person is addicted to cigarettes, they have trouble quitting don't they. Can humans quit hating something? Change their thought process? Their feelings on a subject? Sure... human beings are capable... if they want to.

Sultan Knish keenly describes anti-Americanism as an addiction: "America as a cartoon villain remains a vital prop in this virtual theme park. It's a vital villain to the left, which forms a revolutionary identity by fighting against the powerful. Not those in the wrong, those with the power. By equating evil with power, greed with wealth, armed forces with war crimes, and ability with crime-- the left's own ideology makes anti-Americanism inevitable. If America is powerful than it must be evil.

Obama has severely hurt America, but he hasn't come close to destroying it. And the Anti-American left doesn't want him to. It needs America as a windmill to tilt against. And if America were to fall, Russia or China would not make nearly as satisfactory a villain. Because they don't look much like daddy and they won't treat their attacks as a game. Without an America to assail, they would be left in a cold world where revolution isn't a game, but a firing squad. Where denouncing the government doesn't bring you book deals, but cold prison cells.

It is that combination of power and fair play that makes America into such an appealing target. Its morality is a perfect target for accusations of hypocrisy. Like children bent on proving their parents wrong, the more America tries to do what's right, the more it's denounced as a monstrous evil regime. That way the game of revolution can go on endlessly. The anti-American junkie's rush of fighting the power, before heading off to work, swollen with self-satisfied outrage at his own moral courage."

"America will still be hated no matter which party and what man sit in power. It will be hated because its haters define their identity through that hatred. Their conspiracy theories enlarge their self-image. Their anti-American activism is a form of petty rebellion by overgrown children. Their sabotage is not policy based, it's ego based. Anti-American is an emotional addiction, not a reasoned policy critique. And there's no way to take the product away from the addict. We are not the problem. They are."

The cure for anti-Americanism?
Recognize the problem.
Stop hating for no reason.
Don't believe statist propaganda.
Research. Think for yourself.
Grow up.
(... might want to think about quitting smoking, too... ick)

Oleg has good questions: U got any answers?

As discussed at Pajamas Media, Oleg has asked great questions. What are the answers? We all would like to know. Please answer any of them. Go on, give it your best shot:

•If all cultures are equal, why doesn’t UNESCO organize International Cannibalism Week festivals?
•Why do those demanding “equal pay for equal work” never protest against “equal pay for little or no work”?
•Why has no politician ever run on men’s issues or promised to improve the lives of males?
•If all beliefs are equally valid, how come my belief in the absurdity of this maxim gets rejected by its proponents?
•Ever noticed that for the past thirty years, we’ve been hearing we have less than ten years to save the planet?
•Once a politician labels the truth as hate speech, can anyone trust him to speak the truth afterward?
•If a politician gets elected by the poor on a promise to eliminate poverty, wouldn’t fulfilling his promise destroy his voting base? Wouldn’t he rather benefit from the growing numbers of poor people? Isn’t this an obvious conflict of interests?
•How did the “war on poverty” end? Has there been a peace treaty or a ceasefire? Who is the occupying force and who are the insurgents?
•Why weren’t there demonstrations with anti-feudal slogans under feudal rule? And under Stalin, no anti-communist demonstrations? And under Hitler, no anti-fascist demonstrations? In a free capitalist society, anti-capitalist demonstrations are commonplace. Is capitalism really the worst system?
•If capitalism makes some people rich without making others poor, who will benefit when capitalism is destroyed?
•If the poor in America have things that people in other countries can only dream about, why is there a movement to make America more like those other countries?
•Why, on the rare occasions when Obama’s actions benefit America, does his base get angry? And every time his actions are hurting this nation, his base is happy? Who exactly are these people?
•If cutting out the middleman lowers the price, why are we paying the government to stand between us and the markets?
•If racial profiling is an abomination, what do you make of the last presidential election?
•After Eric Holder called Americans a nation of cowards, what has he done personally to help the situation?
•If diversity training benefits everyone, why do those classes mostly consist of white heterosexual males?
•Why is a huge poisonous cloud over a volcano considered magnificent — but a smokestack over an American factory is ugly and harmful?
•How many Kyoto Protocols are rendered pointless by one medium-sized volcanic eruption?
•Why is burning gas in my car hurting the planet, but setting fire to housing developments in California is saving it?
•Why does Hollywood glamorize drug addicts, criminals, liberal Democrats, and mentally challenged people? What do they all have in common?
•How come Hollywood can always find a good side in thugs, but never in businesspeople? What was the last movie that pictured a self-reliant, industrious man as a role model?
•If it’s capitalist greed that forces Hollywood to exploit the lowest human instincts, why didn’t the same greed force Hollywood to exploit America’s patriotism and make war movies showing the U.S. presence in Iraq and Afghanistan as a force for good? Wouldn’t one such film bring more green cash than all the anti-American flops in the recent years? Where was Hollywood’s capitalist greed then?
•How come those calling Sarah Palin a “bimbo” often look like part of Paris Hilton’s entourage?
•If there are no absolutes and family is an antiquated tool of bourgeois oppression, why is having gay marriage an absolute must?
•Would you know from the media coverage that there are more sex offenders among public school teachers then among Catholic priests? How come the church gets the blame and the Department of Education doesn’t?
•Why is the media so outspoken about sex abusers being priests, but avoids calling them homosexual pedophiles? Who are they afraid to offend?
•Why do those who decry modern civilization never live far from shopping centers and why don’t grind their coffee with a stone ax?
•If we are called a “consumer society” because we consume, why aren’t we also called an “excreter society” because we excrete? For that matter we also sleep, dream, talk, think, invent, play music, raise children, feel pain, get sick and die. Many of us work for a living. Why aren’t we called a “producer society” because we produce the things we consume? Who puts these labels on us and for what purpose?
•How come the unselfish Americans hate their country out of personal frustrations, while the selfish ones defend America with their lives?
•If describing terrorists as freedom fighters is justified by the journalistic principle of neutrality, what is the name of the principle that justifies describing U.S. troops as rapists and murderers?
•When the media portrays the killing of terrorists as “slaughter of civilians,” while slaughter of civilians is portrayed as “resistance to occupation,” is the media really being neutral? Whose side are they really on?
•If Hollywood types are so opposed to capitalism, why is there a warning against unauthorized distribution of their movies?
•Why is experimenting on animals cruel, but experimenting on human embryos compassionate?
•How come industrial logging is a crime against nature, but the destruction of forests by wildfires is a natural cycle of life?
•Why do those who object to tampering with the environment approve of tampering with the economy? Isn’t the economy also a fragile ecosystem where a sudden change can trigger a devastating chain reaction?
•Isn’t the latest economic crisis such a chain reaction?
•Aren’t most of today’s social ills the result of tampering with social ecosystems?
•Why is bioengineering bad, but social engineering good?
•If Al Gore is right and our consumption of the planet’s resources is a moral issue, doesn’t that make genocide an ethical solution? How about an artificial famine? What would Al Gore choose?
•If being a winner in nature’s struggle for survival is selfish, does being extinct make you an altruist?
•Since our planet’s resources are limited, wouldn’t the ultimate act of environmental activism be to stop eating and starve to death?
•How come those who hate humanity for its faults are called “humanists” but those who love humanity for its virtues are called “hate-mongers”?
•If economic ups and downs are natural cycles, why is the downturn always blamed on unbridled capitalism, but the upturn is the result of a wise leadership of a Democrat president?
•Why is there never a media story praising capitalism for the booming economy?
•Ever noticed that those who demand “power to the people” also believe that people can’t do anything right without government supervision?
•How exactly does dependency on the government increase “people power”?
•Why is there never a headline that says “Government program ends as its intended goal has been achieved”?
•How come so many anti-American radicals are wearing American brands, listen to American music, watch American movies, and play American video games on computers designed by American engineers?
•Why do advocates for higher taxes have accountants advising them how they can pay smaller taxes? Wouldn’t you expect them instead to seek advice on how to give away more of their income to the IRS? Or at least not to hire accountants at all?
•Can you name one person who paid the IRS more than he owed because he trusted the government to put his money to good use?
•Did it occur to any of the 9/11 Truthers that a government conspiracy to murder thousands of people would have also included a plan to rub out a few troublemakers?
•If U.S. oil companies own everyone in Washington, how come they allowed Congress to grill them for the alleged price gouging — and to broadcast it on C-Span?
•Why didn’t Congress also grill Hugo Chavez, Vladimir Putin, and a guy named Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz Bin Abdulrahman Bin Faisal Bin Turki Bin Abdullah Bin Muhammad al Saud?
•Why are windfall profits a problem when they enrich U.S. companies that pay billions in taxes — but when Hugo Chavez uses the same windfall profits to fund Marxist guerillas in Colombia, it’s not a big deal?
•If George W. Bush was an oil-thirsty dictator, why couldn’t he in eight years get permission from Congress to drill in ANWR? And why didn’t that failure in any way hurt his dictatorial reputation with the media?
•If it’s true that the media emphasized bad news and harassed President Bush only because they competed for ratings, what changed now? Aren’t they worried that today’s emphasis on good news from the White House will destroy their ratings and make journalism irrelevant?
•And finally, if all opinions are equal, how come a liberal who disagrees with a conservative is open-minded, but a conservative who disagrees with a liberal is a bigot?

UN still stinks so move it to Dubai already

A good list of why the UN is Liberty's Enemy from Joe Klein at NewsReal:

He points out "The real problem is the illusion – shared sadly by the Obama administration – that the United Nations has any moral legitimacy, much less effectiveness, in the areas of international peace and security or human rights.

Moreover, to reverse Bolton’s metaphor, the United Nations’ cheerleaders – including the Obama administration – are striving to add even more stories of UN power. Whether it’s suppressing free speech, trying to take away our national sovereignty in deciding when to use our military power or global wealth redistribution, the United Nations establishment is seeking to expand its powers through unaccountable, undemocratic institutions that are supposed to represent some synthetic form of normative global consensus.

The following list exposes the dangerous fallacy in Obama’s thinking. It provides some examples of how the United Nations is making us all less safe."

The 6 reasons why the UN still stinks:

6) The United Nations is attacking free market capitalism

5) The United Nations obsessively condemns Israel while whitewashing real human rights abusers

4) The United Nations Is unable to even define terrorism, much less help combat it

3) The United Nations is assaulting free speech to protect Islam

2) The United Nations treats dictatorships with the same respect as real democracies

1) The United Nations’ insistence on the Security Council’s exclusive powers over the use of military force to secure international peace and security is a menace to peace.

I agree with Mr. Klein when he concludes:

"This list of the top six reasons that the United Nations is a menace to world peace and freedom demonstrates a dysfunctional organization on which we are wasting billions of dollars a year. It is time to consider spinning off the non-political humanitarian and disaster relief agencies that truly do help people in need. The rest of the sprawling UN bureaucracy may be too far gone to save. Perhaps it should be moved to Dubai which said that it is prepared to host the UN headquarters on its soil. (AWESOME idea Joe) Let the Islamists and their friends have fun in Dubai. We can start over with an organization consisting only of true democracies."

Pro-communism & anti-Americanism still duping people

If you don't love America, leave it.

Hollywood still pushes pro-communism and anti-Americanism. This started back when McCarthy was investigating those in Hollywood... well, McCarthy was right.

The commies are still in Hollywood. Matt Damon and Sean Penn are just a few...

Above book Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century reveals Communist Influence on Hollywood:

From Darin Miller at Breitbart: "Director Elia Kazan new the truth. He was once a Communist, but was kicked out of the Party after refusing to follow orders. He testified before the House Committee on Un-American Activities, and was attacked for it. He wrote in his diary, “I’d hated the Communists for many years and didn’t feel right about giving up my career to defend them.” Unfortunately, many in Hollywood held it against him for years.

And Arthur Miller, who portrayed these trials as witch hunts? He applied to join CPUSA, and admitted to helping Communist front groups.

I find it interesting that the left continues to use one of the favorite strategies of Communism – name-calling – on a regular basis. Kengor quotes F. Scott Fitzgerald on this: “The important thing is that you should not argue with [Communists],” Fitzgerald said. “Whatever you say, they have ways of twisting it into shapes which put you in some lower category of mankind, ‘Fascist,’ ‘Liberal,’ ‘Trotskyist,’ and disparage you both intellectually and personally in the process.” Liberals use this strategy today when dealing with social conservatives or with Tea Partiers.

“One of the greatest successes of the left…has been its ability to discredit anti-Communism and anti-Communists,” Kengor said. “They stereotype and broad-bush anti-Communists, trying their best to push every new stalwart anti-Communist into their ever-widening category of ‘another Joe McCarthy,’ of which there were far more than Joe McCarthy. Long before Joe McCarthy, the left was smearing liberals like Woodrow Wilson’s attorney general, Alexander Mitchell Palmer, Wilson himself, and Democrats in Congress like Martin Dies, the first head of the House Committee on Un-American Activities, all for the unforgivable sin of strident anti-Communism. Believe me, that’s a short list of the anti-Communists that the left crucified.”

Kengor’s non-partisan approach to looking at Communist influences in America led him to defend many liberals, and also hold conservative-loved dupes accountable. Take Ronald Reagan for instance. He was a duped liberal before he became a staunch anti-Communist and then a conservative.

“Reagan was very candid about this,” Kengor said. “I’ve tried to be honest in this book, highlighting even political heroes of mine – like Reagan – who were once duped. But it was what he learned from that experience that helped convert him into arguably the greatest anti-Communist. He became first a chastened liberal, which was part of a deeper, wider awakening.”

Speaking of Reagan, I asked Kengor about the status of the Reagan film that will be based on his books. “We’re plugging away,” he said. “Ronald Reagan was a great, inspiring historical figure. The man merits a major, serious ‘bio-pic’ that accurately represents what he did and how he helped change the world for the better. This is another area of history that we can’t leave to the extreme left.”
Got that? Even one of America's greatest conservative presidents - was duped by pro-communist Hollywood influences.
Don't let yourself by duped by leftist, statist, communist LIES.

reflections on bad Christmas past

This year we had a very nice Christmas here in NZ with my husbands close-knit family. Last night though, I had a dream my dad died from a heart attack so I woke up not feeling all too joyous. I spoke to my dad and step mum in Paris at Christmas and they are fine.

However, one of my NZ brother-in-laws Craig just had a mild heart attack. He is in the hospital as I type this waiting to get a coronary angiogram. We hope he is OK. He's only 51.

My worst Christmas was when I was 18. My cousin David, a year older than me, was killed in a car crash. I had seen him that year in summer time when I visited his brother, my other cousin, at his college in Iowa. I had a nice visit with my two cousins... didn't know that would be my last time seeing David. He had joined the US Marines and had just finished a tour of duty overseas when I saw him. He was toughened up, looked sharp with his blonde buzz cut and had a great looking leather jacket from somewhere in Asia had aquired via trade with a foreign soldier.

David was from a big family and his dad was my mom's closest brother in age. We had spent a lot of 4th of July parties at their house and had seen their whole family a lot growing up.

Losing their young son in his prime of life was devastating to his parents and all his siblings. I remember the church was very crowded at his funeral with many ex-girlfriends all crying their eyes out. The wake beforehand was very dramatic as well. He was laid out in his dress USMC blues and he looked so young and fit... like he would sit up at any second. There were two USMC guards also standing by the casket with flags. Wow... I'll never forget that site. David wasn't killed on duty - he was on base in a car full of young Marines and a tire blew out. A couple of the boys jumped out and pushed the car off the road - but a car didn't see them and hit them while they were pushing. David's funeral was on a December 23rd.

About a week later, my parents sat us down and told my two sisters and I they were going to get a divorce. Us kids were saddened by this... even traumatized I suppose.

So, yep, bad year for Christmas that year... I don't remember any joy.

But life has no guarantees and horrible things can happen any time, so I'm very happy I had a nice Christmas this year and spent a nice time chatting with my bro-in-law who is now having heart issues. Think I'll get off the computer now and say a little prayer he will be OK.

1981 Christmas greeting from President Reagan

President Reagan wasn't afraid to address America at Christmas time in a normal fashion and discuss faith. America misses your wisdom, sir. From iPatriot:

NIWA admits NO "warming" in NZ since 1960

Congratulations to Richard Treadgold and the Climate Science Coalition!

Skeptics still have work to do to convince the AGW brainwashed, but the TRUTH needs to be told.

Almost all of the 34 adjustments made by Dr Jim Salinger to the 7SS have been abandoned, along with his version of the comparative station methodology.

“NIWA is clearly not prepared to defend the adjustments exposed in Are we feeling warmer yet? But it took a court case to force them into a corner.

NIWA makes the huge admission that New Zealand has experienced hardly any warming during the last half-century. For all their talk about warming, for all their rushed invention of the “Eleven-Station Series” to prove warming, this new series shows that no warming has occurred here since about 1960. Almost all the warming took place from 1940-60, when the IPCC says that the effect of CO2 concentrations was trivial. Indeed, global temperatures were falling during that period.

“The new temperature record shows no evidence of a connection with global warming."

James Delingpole comments on the denial in the UK (and the record cold winters & snow they keep having!):

"This isn’t a new thing. It has been going on for years, since at least the 1992 Rio Earth Summit when Maurice Strong laid down the ground rules for the eco-fascist takeover of the world. It’s bit like that classic 2000AD “Future Shocks” story where the aliens that have invaded our planet unbeknownst to us turn out to be those innocuous-looking wire coat hangers we have in our cupboards. The battle for our freedom is already all but lost – and the stupid thing is, most of us didn’t even know we were fighting one.

So now – not in some imagined, paranoid fantasist’s future, but NOW – we live in a world where an airport is encouraged to place a higher priority on reducing its notional production of a harmless trace gas than it does in making provision for aeroplanes to be able to take off and land in inclement weather.

And NOW, not in the future, we live in a world where our government’s winter transport policy is based not on hard science and rationalism but on the heavily politicised, embarrassingly unreliable forecasts of a once-proud organisation – the Met Officewhich now behaves more like a propaganda outlet for the man-made global warming movement. No wonder the Global Warming Policy Foundation is calling for a full independent inquiry."

"...the Warmist faith so fervently held and promulgated by the Met Office is exactly the same faith so passionately, unswervingly followed by David Cameron, Chris Huhne, Greg Barker, the Coalition’s energy spokesman in the Lords Lord Marland, and all but five members of the last parliament. And also by the BBC, the Prince of Wales, almost every national newspaper, the European Union, the Royal Society, the New York Times, CNBC, the Obama administration, the Australian and New Zealand governments, your children’s schools, our major universities, our minor universities, the University of East Anglia, your local council…"

START = madness or ceding to Russia, pick one

Image from AT

From Jim DeMint: "...START revives the policy of mutually assured destruction."

"...START also fails on another important front: It doesn’t recognize the fact that Russia and the United States play very different roles in the world. Russia is a threat to many and a protector of none. The United States, on the other hand, is a threat to none and a protector of many. More than 30 nations, many in the former Soviet bloc, depend on the U.S. for their security. The New START treaty does not reflect that obligation. It ignores it."

The RINOs who voted for it for 86 million of pork for THEIR projects. (shocker... I know)

Pajamas Media asks, does anyone in America care that Iran and Russia are arming Venezuela? Hmm... yep that COULD be a problem. Think we could have a taco summit, drink beer and sing kumbaya to solve any issues? Hmm mmm mmmmm?

Feel safer now world? START should be STOPPED.

Gulag Bound & email from a WWII USMC vet

Check out this site is pretty interesting: Gulag Bound
Trevor from NewZeal is a contributor.
An article at Gulag Bound asks Whose Fault, Prince of Fools or Nation of Fools Who Elected Him? Good question isn't it... (how many of the 69 million - only 22% of population- are sorry about it - is another question! and are the other 78% awake enough to the horrors going on in Washington by an illegal usurper regime yet is a third question... ok, sorry, question tangent...)
I recently wrote a post about the USA turning into Amerika: Just pointing out the obvious.
There are millions of others who see this occurring and are also upset and speaking out (and voting in new USA leadership a month ago Nov2).
Americans are pissed off and rightly so.
Canada Free Press discusses in News Reports Sum Up Obama’s Plans for Complete Destruction of America by Jerry McConnell 22-Dec-2010

"In just a few minutes of reading the CNSNews.com E-Brief today on December 21, 2010, I was appalled and yet not surprised to find so many references to actions being considered or taken by our far-left, Socialist dominated federal government and the Marxist Obama Administration.

It is becoming more and more obvious that the Obama gang is bound and determined to absolutely destroy and cede over our country to the corrupt and poisonous United Nations. They are leaving no doubt that they wish America to be conquered first by themselves, and then handed over to the evil forces of the Bilderberg Group who exercise absolute control over the United Nations.

In the first article on the E-Brief it reports on Obama’s addressing a Tribal Nations conference at the White House last week, and apologizing; yes, I said, APOLOGIZING, as he seems to be forever doing on our behalf without our permission, and against our wishes like a traitor that gives his country up to an enemy.

This man has absolutely no scruples or reverence for America’s 235 years of solid freedom and care for its people and for suffering people around the world. No nation has ever been more caring for others in the history of our planet. But this evil-doing presidential usurper has a goal of killing us all off by means of dealing us off to the slavery of the unsavory United Nations."
Spot on Jerry...

- and -

Hanging on in a roller coaster world by Judi McLeod 21-Dec-2010

"In a throwback to the days of Stalin, the elected governments of many nations, including America, are turning on their own people. What Barack `Kill-America’ Obama is doing to the USA is being done elsewhere because what he is doing originates from a global initiative.
Close your ears and close your mind to any talking heads or Internet stories that try to portray Obama as an incompetent; a trapped, abandoned little boy in a man’s body or just another evil Democrat politician. Obama is a cold-hearted, cold-blooded Marxist on a rush mission to take down America. (spot on Judy!)

Thinking small could be families moving in together. People moving from the city to the farm; determined to do the best with whatever they have; pulling together, sharing; just wanting to survive.

Live in reality.

The recession is ravaging life as we know it, world wide."
Yep, its very gloom and doom right now.
Will the newly voted, incoming representatives in January starting turning (America) the Titanic around or will she hit the iceberg?
I left a comment at the first CFP article by Jerry O'Connell. He is a WWII USMC vet. He kindly emailed me back! I think that is really cool.
Part of his email to me said "You also make a lot of sense in your analysis of the events of our Marxist usurper president and his communist ridden administration and political party. Perhaps in January we can start reclaiming America for the Americans and hold off the takeover by the corrupt United Nations group that would enslave us forever.

Keep the faith Lisa"
You, too Jerry... I am honored he wrote me back with kind words... Americans and freedom fighters need to listen to brave and honest voices like Jerry's. He gets it. More of his articles here.

Unintended consequences by gubmit "helping" policies

For those who think TheWon or other western world leaders "help" their countries with intrusive, over reaching, marxist-socialist-statis spend-ALL-YOUR-taxpayer-money policies.

SPEND SPEND SPEND SPEND!

There are always BAD unintended consequences. Remember the approximately 50,000,000 dead from malaria because DDT was banned? This video highlights some recent consequences in the USA.

hattip: NewZeal

Just remember: "Keynesian" economics = BAD

INFLATION = JUST MORE TAX

There is a few dumb things in this video with their concern about "carbon footprints"... who cares? Man made global warming is a FRAUD.

CO2 = necessary component for LIFE on EARTH

However, there is WAY too much USA gubmit spending right now. That is all true...

Stealth communism still marching into Amerikka

From what I've read, millions of people have died as a direct result of communism and communist-marxist policies. (you've heard "death panels" under "O-care" IS the plan, right?)

Question: why is America going down the SAME flippin' road with similar policies which ALWAYS failed in the past? Is America Amerikka ALREADY?! The latest:

"We have taken the telegraph office." V.Lenin, 1917

I've said this before, but I'll repeat the analogy: watching American politics from down here in NZ is like watching a bus heading towards a cliff. The drivers are the marxist-communists "in charge". The installed "ruler" (TheWon) is illegitimate as the globalist-puppeteers have paid off or have dirt on people who should have vetted TheWon (media, DNC, RNC).

Bloggers, T.E.A. partiers and others are WAVING frantically at the people on the bus trying to warn them of impending DOOM. They just smile and wave back... and go back to watching the football or idol or some other rot...
Wake the F up Amerikka. Apparently its OK if everything goes to shite, just so the unemployment checks still come.

Really?
Should America even remain a sovereign nation? Or shall we just put Russia in charge? If there is iPods, happy hours, TV reality shows, Nike shoes and McDonalds, does it matter if the constitution is not in effect any more and regulation after regulation, tax after tax is heaped upon all the little worker bees? Will you like your cushy, velvet lined prisons you willingly enter?

This is a nightmare and it is not ending.
The 2011 incoming congress & house better come in with guns blazing (figuratively) to stop the bus. The bus is still headed for the cliff.

Merry F'g Christmas indeed. Today it struck me: TheWon is probably just a spoiler, perhaps born of Malcolm X (or whoever/whatever theory works best) and has been groomed to be the new communist dictator of the North American union: Mexiko+Kanada+Amerikka. Yeah! A new third world country with slaves and workers in place just to give the elites all their money! That is why all TheWon's paperwork remains hidden from public eye. They have FOOOOOOLED YOU! HA HA HA!

So how long are you going to put up with this take over? Its already been going on for 40-50 years... You think a new congress will fix everything in 2 years? There is a helluva lot more work to do.

Oh yea, in other great news this week, the "TEA Party Express" is teaming up with CNN to host some 2012 presidential debates! What B.S. From Pajamas Media: This is like a bunch of kittens getting together with alligators (or wolves). Gee, who will win?

So back to the new communist dictator, TheWon as the next Vladimir Lenin ...

How did people fare under ol' Lenin baby?
From Everything2 (please provide specific corrections and sources if this is factually incorrect)

"Many historians today like to gloss over Vladimir Lenin's atrocities and concentrate on Josef Stalin instead, to a point that most people associate Stalin to dictator but see Lenin is some kind of benevolent father figure who died too early. Seattle even put up an old statue of Lenin downtown. The city might as well pay homage to Hitler, because Lenin is personally responsible for the massacre of millions of Russians.

The Bolshevik Revolution was in reality not much more than an opportunistic grab for power in a time of chaos by a small group of radicals. At the end of the October 1917 the Bolshevik Party numbered less than 2000 members. But their promise of immediate property redistribution and violent action against the "oppressive classes" appealed to workers displaced by war. The Bolsheviks realized that their position was shaky and saw terror as the only way to cement their hold on power. Lenin did not give the opposition any time to organize their forces. The Bolsheviks began to openly incite civil war.

Lenin ordered the creation of a device to enforce the "iron fist of the dictatorship of the proletariat", or Lenin's whim. The term "dictatorship of the proletariat" was an obscure reference used by Karl Marx in a few of his letters; most historians agree that he meant to use the term as an analogy. Lenin thought it was catchy, so he applied it in all his decrees. He ordered Feliks Dzershinsky to oversee an extraordinary committee to "liquidate any counterrevolutionary activities". This organization eventually became the Cheka, the feared Bolshevik secret police."

Sounds just swell Amerikka! This crap is already happening... look at LTC Lakin case: the Amerikkan "secret police" might already be in place ... Well, good luck the next two years... you're gonna need it

& if the internet gets shut down this week? It was nice chattin' with ya

Site highlights problems with USA's Public Sector Unions

"Public employee unions and other groups dependent on taxpayer funding have long pushed for higher spending to benefit their members, clients, employees and other stakeholders. Together, they represent a powerful force — Public Sector Inc. — dedicated to the preservation of the budgetary status quo in recession-ravaged state capitals and city halls throughout the country.

This website is designed to illuminate the public sector problem and offer solutions for governmental reform in the broad public interest." Example:

"Taxpayer-funded employer contributions to public pensions in New York State will rise by billions of dollars in the next few years, threatening to divert scarce resources from other essential public services in the midst of a fiscal crisis, according to a report issued today by the Empire Center for New York State Policy.

The report, “New York’s Exploding Pensions Costs,” forecasts pension funding trends for the New York State and Local Retirement Systems (NYSLRS) and the New York State Teachers Retirement System (NYSTRS), which cover nearly every public employee outside New York City. It also summarizes official reports of funded status and projected costs over the next three years for the New York City Retirement Systems.

Key findings:

• Taxpayer contributions to NYSTRS could more than quadruple, rising from about $900 million as of 2010-11 to about $4.5 billion by 2015-16. The projected increase is equivalent to an annual property tax hike of 3.5 percent a year, well above Governor-elect Andrew Cuomo’s proposed property tax cap.

• State and local employer contributions to NYSLRS will more than double over the next five years, adding nearly $4 billion to annual taxpayer costs even if most opt to convert a portion of their higher pension bills into IOUs that won’t be paid off until the 2020s.

• New York City’s budgeted pension contributions, which already have increased by more than 500 percent ($5.8 billion) in the last decade, are projected to increase at least 20 percent more, or $1.4 billion, in the next three years. "

This craziness is why Americans find representatives willing to fight this monster very popular - like NJ's Chris Christie.

The war rages on...

Free speech protected by law in NZ, too

Is that YOU "anonymous" ?!
A misguided "anonymous" person commented on my little blog. Mr/Mrs anonymous thinks free speech is not guaranteed in New Zealand.

Guess what, anonymous - you are WRONG.

For your education (if you want to learn something), here is the link to: "New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990, Public Act 1990 No 109, Date of assent 28 August 1990"

"13 Freedom of thought, conscience, and religion
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, religion, and belief, including the right to adopt and to hold opinions without interference.

14 Freedom of expression
Everyone has the right to freedom of expression, including the freedom to seek, receive, and impart information and opinions of any kind in any form."

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, pal...

& have a nice day

Crowder: go green, kill people!

some good, some bad, last week in California

Image above from Jun 2009 article "Why is California broke?"

You've all heard California is broke, right? Do you know why?
Some reasons can be seen in a glaring harsh reality described by Victor Davis Hanson in Two Californias.
He "wanted to witness, even if superficially, what is happening to a state that has the highest sales and income taxes, the most lavish entitlements, the near-worst public schools (based on federal test scores), and the largest number of illegal aliens in the nation, along with an overregulated private sector, a stagnant and shrinking manufacturing base, and an elite environmental ethos that restricts commerce and productivity without curbing consumption."

Remember when California had a reputation as "the golden state" because of the gold rush which made furtunes, of course lovely weather and perhaps a bit of old time Hollywood glamour from decades past.

Now? Not so much.

Mr. Hanson thinks the ticking time bomb problems in CA is due to "vast transformations over the last 20 years that are the paradoxical wages of unchecked illegal immigration from Mexico, a vast expansion of California’s entitlements and taxes, the flight of the upper middle class out of state, the deliberate effort not to tap natural resources, the downsizing in manufacturing and agriculture, and the departure of whites, blacks, and Asians from many of these small towns to more racially diverse and upscale areas of California."

Good article, read the rest here.

Mr. Hanson might be very happy to hear a "Federal judge orders rewrite of delta smelt plan" which means more WATER will go to farming instead of saving a wee fish.

That is good business news for California agriculture.

"U.S. District Judge Oliver Wanger said in a 225-page opinion that portions of the guidelines meant to protect the delta smelt and manage water flows from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta violated the law.

The opinion covered six cases filed separately by agriculture interests, environmental groups and urban water districts against federal wildlife, land and water managers over plans meant to safeguard the dwindling species, called a biological opinion.

"The 2008 (biological opinion findings) are arbitrary, capricious, and unlawful, and are remanded to Fish & Wildlife for further consideration in accordance with this decision and the requirements of law," Wanger wrote."

-and-

"With the economy struggling and unemployment still soaring, it is welcome to see a judge refusing to rubber stamp extreme, destructive and unjustified environmental regulations," said Damien Schiff, an attorney with the Pacific Legal Foundation, which represented three farmers who say water cutbacks harmed their businesses.

In recent years, court decisions aimed at protecting the smelt have restricted water deliveries from the delta, the inland estuary where the finger-sized fish live, and have spelled major losses for growers in the state's farm belt who rely on the system to irrigate their crops.

The delta is also the heart of California's water delivery system, and provides drinking water for 25 million people. Urban water districts in Southern California welcomed Tuesday's ruling, saying the regulatory restrictions previously had "crippled" their water supplies."

Also, in non-related, Kyle Olson at Breitbart points out some good news out of California, "L.A. Parents Pull the Trigger on School Choice":

"The parents of students at McKinley Elementary School in Compton, California have risen up and taken control of their children’s education.

The parents are making use of a new California law, called the Parent Trigger, which gives them the power to impose sweeping changes on failing schools."

"There are many California schools that would qualify for parental action under the Parent Trigger law, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

In the Los Angeles United School District alone, 250 schools have failed to meet academic standards for more than three years, the newspaper said.

Under this law, if the majority of a school’s parents agree, they can choose to close down the school, replace the entire staff, or convert it to a charter school. All that is required is a petition signed by 50 percent of the parents."

"Giving parents the power to choose the best option for their child’s education – that must be the future of education in the United States. Together we can create a new future for all children, one that prepares them for a successful future and a better quality of life. America’s children deserve nothing less."

WOW... Great news! Good on them. Less union influence and more parent involvement. Excellent. Hopefully there will be more truthful teaching and less public school propaganda peddling.

Much work to do... might be awhile til California is "golden" again.

Cornflakes & marshmallow Christmas wreath cookies

Made & brought these into work yesterday... melted marshmallow, corn flake cereal and green food coloring... they were yum. "official" kellogg's recipe here (but you really don't need the white frosting).

My Australian, New Zealand and South Aftrican co-workers weren't exactly sure what these were because wreaths on doors seems more a northern hemisphere, cold snowy winter Christmas tradition... but they liked the cookies anyway!

My mom made these every year using the cinnamon candies as toppings, but I couldn't find those so I used sprinkles.

Courageous LTC Lakin found guilty, now has "standing"?

what is "bravery" to you?

From WND "Court martial convicts Lakin on 4th count":

"The possible penalties include dismissal as well as up to 42 months in prison.

Lakin openly admits he willfully chose to disobey orders to deploy to Afghanistan over concerns that his orders were not lawful. Lakin is not sure whether President Barack Obama is a legitimate commander-in-chief of the armed forces because Obama has failed to prove he is eligible under the U.S. Constitution to occupy the Oval Office.

Lakin deliberately exposed himself to a court martial in the hope of forcing Obama, during the "discovery" process, to prove he is eligible to serve as president by producing identity documents including his birth certificate. Lakin hoped the documents would establish whether Obama is a "natural born Citizen," as required of any American president by Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution."

Question: if they put him in prison, won't he then have "standing"? He could very well be a plaintiff in another eligibility trial if so, meeting the elusive standing requirement.

And why does this matter anyway? TheWon is acting POTUS...right? or is he? Couple good articles today on this.

Canada Free Press explains why this is STILL important and relevant especially for anyone who wants to believe the USA constitution still matters:

"Many Republicans and conservatives, under the influence of their Kool-Aid induced agendas, have described the eligibility issue as a “distraction” from the real issues. The majority of Democrats and progressives, for obvious reasons, have resorted to associating the issue with race, bigotry and hatred. Together, detractors of this issue from both sides have engaged in the methodical marginalization of the message and mocking those who dare act as the messengers.

What could be more fundamentally important than ensuring that the person at the helm of our country, the Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful military in the world, the holder of the keys to the nation’s nuclear lockbox is indeed constitutionally eligible to hold this office? I see more outrage on Sunday afternoons by grown men living vicariously by dressing up in the jersey of their favorite football player when a receiver is declared ineligible.

Despite rabid and consistently incorrect assertions to the contrary, Barack Hussein Obama has not provided one single item of authenticated evidence to prove that he is a natural born citizen and thusly qualified to be president as defined by Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution. Not only has he not provided such documentation, he has fought long and hard, and spent what many reliable reports suggest as well over a million dollars against releasing his birth certificate and numerous other documents relevant to his background.

It is not within the scope of this article nor is it my intent to discuss the definition of natural born citizen, the “Vattell Theory,” or other technical matters related to this issue beyond this one fact: Obama could have been born in the middle of the White House lawn at noon on a crowded weekday with John, Jackie and Rose Kennedy serving as witnesses, and with Teddy serving the drinks, but that, by itself, does not make him eligible to hold the office of President of the United States."

OK, yep, still important the truth comes out. Couple theories out there: this person either a) really doesn't have a USA birth certificate and born elsewhere or b) perhaps biologically not what has been stated.
  • Perhaps Stanley Ann's father is the true birth father with some black prostitute. (one theory)
  • Perhaps TheWon is a spawn of Malcolm X (another theory)
  • or perhaps just an adopted baby from Indonesida (yet another theory).

If his birth father is who TheWon has stated, he is a Kenyan/British citizen or Indonesian citizen (the Soetoro adoption)... not eligible.

Did the CIA and leftist-marxist-communist forces all create the perfect usurper storm that is TheWon?

America can't figure it out if there ain't a real "birth certificate"! (the fake COLB means nothing)

AT has a good article describing LTC Lakin's bravery "Crucible of a hero":

"When Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, M.D. walks out of the chamber where he has faced a court-martial this week, he will emerge -- regardless of the verdict -- a towering American hero.

Nothing like the stupendous display which he has mounted -- of principled, sustained self-sacrifice and fearless defiance -- has been seen in decades on the American political stage. Together with the peril of actual battlefield engagement, it ranks alongside the greatest courageous stances even of the American Revolution itself. Patrick Henry, Nathan Hale -- those kinds of stances.

This case is of shatteringly great significance, and if you don't know about it, well, you can thank the cowards, commies, and crooks at your favorite mainstream media Bureau of Disinformation, National Desk. Lt. Col. Lakin has been abandoned by the establishment press, dastards and lackeys almost to a one. Terry Lakin is putting at risk his own life, his own fortune, and his own sacred honor. He has invited his own court-martial, scorn, possible conviction, and disapprobation; loss of rank, position, and pension; loss of the future; danger to family and impoverishment; and possible hard jail time at Leavenworth. All this for the exalted goal of fealty to a Constitution his every step of the way towards protecting which is blocked by the government that administered the oath he took, and which oath he must contravene only to be able to honor it in the extreme. The greatness of battlefield valor stands elsewhere; this is bravery of another order."

"This is the kind of courage -- after the crawling, burrowing, light-averse invertebrates of the political landscape have long since slithered away and vanished -- that gets statues of a man built in public squares. This kind of courage gets folk songs and laureate poems written for a man, and they will be written for this one. This kind of courage guarantees -- even a hundred years from now -- that parents will still be proud to give their little boys names like Terrence Lakin Jones."

If LTC Lakin goes to jail, he'll definitely have "standing" for another eligibility trial. Do your research at Mario Apuzzo's site to understand.

There will be more lawsuits and trials. HEY C.I.A. and involved-puppeteers, GUESS WHAT: It will not stop until the WHOLE TRUTH and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH comes out... eventually. It always does...

adoption: thank god my parents picked me

...I was a happy baby
My 2 sisters and I were all adopted within a couple days of being born.
I can't imagine how difficult it would be emotionally and physically for a woman to carry a baby 9 months to term and make the decision not to keep the baby... but how brave to do just that.
Adoption is a very good thing.
This is just my little story. I'm an adult and productive member of society - who is very happy abortion wasn't the choice made... I always knew I was adopted. My mother made me feel special by telling me a story, several times, when I was a little girl, that when she went to the hospital, I looked up at her and say "I want YOU for my mommy!"... So she said "OK!" and took me home.

Pretty neat trick to be able to speak at 3 days old, huh? Yes I was a gifted child...

I think my grandpa is about to play his accordion in above photo. My favorite memory was his saying "God bless ya..." when good things happened. He was such a loving, sweet man. He raised 9 children, had a successful fruit & vegetable business, owned 3 homes and put all 9 through college. Some work ethic. God blessed him...!

There was never discussion or anything negative said about ny "birth" mother.

I was just a happy child living a life with two normal American parents who had made the effort to privately adopt. It was a success so they adopted two more girls. One sister is 1.5 years younger than me and the other 7 years younger. My father taught me ambition, airplanes, camping, independence, canoeing, bicycling, horses, science, corn futures trading, classical music, life long education...

My mother taught me laughter, manners, cooking, cleaning, art, style, crafts, how to read when I was 4, optimism, self worth, morality...

Birthday time for me! Whee, that cake looks good...

Yes... looks like another birthday...
And again... this one is my youngest sister's 1st birthday. She was SUCH a cute baby... I'm looking hip in a hand-made leopard print dress? (...geez, mom... realllly??)
Another smashing home-made ensemble my mother made for my sister and I... can you tell its the 1970s? What gave it away? ...
So here we are - 3 adopted kids all in one family, my family.
No, we don't look alike at all but when my closest-in-age sister and I went through high school and told friends we were sisters, the usual response was "oh, I see ... you guys look alike..."
We thought this was pretty funny. We would giggle and proudly respond "thanks, but we're adopted!"
I never met my birth mother but I am thankful for her bravery and sacrifice for giving me life.
I am thankful to both my parents for raising me as their own and their continued life long love for me.

Choose life.
