small business story of last 4 years

This is probably a typical small business story of the last 4 years and exactly why Obummer MUST be GONE on November 6th:

still voting for O? must watch this then

If you are still voting for the statist-communist-marxist regime that is the O administation, you have not been reading my blog for any length of time...

You haven't been trying to run a small business...

You haven't been paying a mortgage...

You haven't been buying gas for your car...

If there any "undecideds" (really?) this November 6th, perhaps this video can help you make up your mind:

USA military STILL use bayonets and horses

Afghanistan USA military horse soldier - statue for 9/11 memorial
HEY DUMBA&& BAMSTER:  The USA military still uses both horses and bayonets TODAY.

So Snarky McSnark's military tech comments in the debate?  All wrong. AWR Hawkins (and several other sources) at Breitbart points out:

"The U.S. Commander-in-Chief misspoke about bayonets. He misspoke about horses. He misspoke about the size of the U.S. Navy. He misspoke about the makeup of the Navy. And the whole time, he thought he was teaching his opponent Mitt Romney a lesson.

Obama mocked Gov. Romney's concerns about the diminished number of ships in the U.S. Navy by saying, "I think Gov. Romney maybe hasn't spent enough time studying how our military works."

Obama continued, trying his best to make the GOP challenger look foolish: "[Romney] mentioned that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well... we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them. We have these ships that go under water, nuclear submarines." Obama added that it's not about "counting ships," it's about "our capabilities."

These comments rang out with a snarky condescension that was only surpassed by their complete lack of factual support."

You are WAY too nice, Mr. Hawkins - most of us know Bammie is just a lying liar.

Nov 6th can't come soon enough...

Nov 7th NZ - Romney victory party

I'm feeling happy...

I'm feeling confident...

I'm feeling healthy, wealthy and well...

Ok, not exactly, just the healthy and well part.  Lots of people have way worse problems than me.  My life is awesome and great compared to probably millions of others on planet earth.

November 7th, I'm planning a Romney victory party.

Who's with me?!  He will be the next real American potus and he will be fantastic.  He will be held to account by we.the.people.

Today we went to Martha's Backyard, an American product store here in Auckland.

go to Martha's to get some American stuff!

Her logo cracks me up "it's just 'different"... Ha ha ha!  Shouldn't it be "it's just normal" Martha?!  Well for me it is anyway... (sorry 300,000,000 people still trumps 4,000,000).

America is big, beautiful and built on individual freedom and small government - America will prevail.  The evil trickle down (avalanche) of big government-ISM will be halted.

Romney and Ryan will stop the bus from going over the cliff and let the air out of the growing communist balloon.  There will be some strife from the zombie entitlement class, but they will be forced into reality.  There will be safety nets for sick, elderly and such - but the rest will have to get some skills and get a job.  It will be time to go back to work and grow the American economy from within.

Energy independence will be a focus in the new administration - the middle east will eventually be told "go fight amongst yourselves".  America will rightly go back to the correct wordly position of peace through strength.  We'll bring our American troops out of the shite-hole of Afghanistan with some how-to instructions on how to properly deal with Taliban (like target practice).

I'm at peace...

I felt like a bit of shopping...

...so we didn't go too crazy, but we bought a few American made items...  Crystal Light, Pop Tarts, Cheese Con Queso dip, Fritos, Hunts Catsup, Sugar Free Jello, Bisquick, Cheetos, USA platter, napkins and couple flags...

... and now I'm ready to start planning a Romney victory party for November 7th.

But really, the big winners will be all the American people and the rest of the world.  The ship will be righted and won't hit that iceberg after all.  Seas will be rough, but the journey will continue.

Now get your happy on, encourage everyone you know to vote Republican in ALL your local races - and on top of the ticket.  Do your part.... so we can all celebrate together.

Benghazigate - lying now or lying then?

In case you hadn't heard the truth, Romney caught Bamster caught in a LIE.

Either he and his leftist reghime was they lying THEN or they are lying NOW.  Which is it?

Questions remain: What did you know and when did you know it?

The COVER UP is always worse than the crime... Remember Nixon?  This time an American ambassador was killed and 3 others.

A random theory I read yesterday online somewhere is Amb. Stevens and others MAY have been killed with American made weapons we supplied the rebels... Just like Fast and Furious - but in middle east this time...

... hmmm, what do you think?!

I've also read O's leftist regime is arming Syrian rebels as we speak.

Nice... I'm sure that will end well, too...

2nd debate: top ten lies and top ten misses

Joel Pollack at Breitbart has Fact Check: Top Ten Worst Lies of the Second Presidential Debate

1. "He did call it an act of terror." The worst untruth told by a moderator in presidential history. Candy Crowley's intervention in favor of Obama caused the president's cheering section to burst into applause, in violation of the rules, and there was little that Romney could say in response. But she was wrong...

2. "He wanted to take them into bankruptcy without providing them any way to stay open." After Obama accused Romney of wanting American auto manufacturers to go bankrupt, Romney pointed out that Obama had, in fact, taken the auto companies through bankruptcy. Obama's retort was to accuse Romney of wanting to take the companies bankrupt in order to put them out of business--a blatant lie.

3. "In what new ways do you intend to rectify the inequalities in the workplace, specifically regarding females making only 72 percent of what their male counterparts earn?" The false premise from a member of the audience was especially egregious because her question had been selected in advance by the moderator. The supposed wage gap between men and women for the same work is largely a myth. As Diana Furchtgott-Roth pointed out: "Women make about 95 percent of what their male counterparts earn, if the male counterparts are in the same job with the same experience."

4. "And the production is up....What you’re saying is just not true." Obama contested a claim by Romney that production of oil and gas is down on federal lands. He even accused Romney of not telling the truth. But Romney was right--exactly right, down to the percentage decline.

5. "You can ship jobs overseas and get tax breaks for it." We have heard the same lie for eight years from Obama. In 2004, he ran for U.S. Senate from Illinois on a promise to end such tax breaks. He did it again when he ran for President of the United States in 2008. And yet he has never done anything about it--because there are no such tax breaks.

6. "They rely on it for mammograms." Obama attacked Romney's proposal to cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood by claiming that the organization provides mammograms to women to help prevent breast cancer. It's been a repeated claim made by the left for months. The problem is that it's just untrue...

7. "I want to make sure our timekeepers are working here." For the third debate in a row, the Democratic candidate complained that he was not receiving as much time to speak as the Republican. And for the third debate in a row, the Obama/Biden ticket actually spoke for longer--much longer--than the Romney/Ryan ticket...

8. "He called the Arizona law a model for the nation." Obama tried to knock Romney's immigration policy while at the same time accusing him of flip-flopping on the issue. But as Romney pointed out, he was referring specifically to the e-Verify part of the law--the requirement of instant verification of workers' legal status.

9. "...[H]e was asked, is it fair for somebody like you, making $20 million a year, to pay a lower tax rate than a nurse or a bus driver....And he said, yes, I think that’s fair." Obama was referring to Romney's recent 60 Minutes interview. But the transcript reveals Obama was not telling the truth.

10. "I told you I would cut taxes for middle-class families, and I did. I told you I’d cut taxes for small businesses, and I have." President Barack Obama has made this claim repeatedly during the campaign, but it is not true, as even the liberal Huffington Post acknowledges.

Kevin Dujan at Hillbuzz has Ten Important Things You Might Have Missed in the Second Presidential Debate — Hofstra’s Romney vs. Obama Debate on 10/16/2012

1. Obama’s Ministry of Truth is working hard for him, but it is no longer powerful enough to deliver him this election.

2. Town Hall style debates are ridiculous and should be replaced with Lincoln-Douglas style debates in the future.

3. Frank Luntz’s focus groups ran screaming away from Obama after this debate and confidently said they will vote for Romney.

4. There are no McCain 2008 voters who are undecided this year or switching to Obama; the audience last night was only Obama 2008 voters who are now undecided or voting for Romney.

5. Mitt Romney presented himself as presidential to the extent that one woman actually called him “President Romney” last night.

6. Obama’s lies about him not being at war with oil, gas, and coal production will be easily exposed in coming days.

7. Obama’s lie about Benghazi is going to come back to haunt him in a big way.

8. Democrats have given up on Independents and Moderates and are now pushing a solely base-turnout election.

9. Barack Obama appeared to be raging on cocaine last night.

10. CNN’s Candy Crowley is the Helen Jones-Kelley of 2012 (a woman who abused her position in a blatant way to help Obama and should be fired for it).

Romney vs Candy and Bammie on Libya

J. Crouse at American Thinker proclaims Romney winner in 3 way debate with Candy and Bammie.  The deck was stacked against Romney: pure leftist "moderator", lefty questions and lefty audience...

...but regarding Libya:

See now CNN Candy jumped into the debate to help Bammie when pressed on incorrect  White House position day after the Libya terrorist attack?!  The White House, their UN gal Rice, Clinton and Bammie ALL said Libya attacks were as result of "the video" B.S.  THEY all LIED.

In fact, most likely, many military and O regime personally watched 6 hours of live feed (audio and video) at the Libyan post where Ambassador Stevens and 3 others were murdered LIVE AS IT HAPPENED. Then, they COVERED IT UP by blaming riots because of the video - for 9 DAYS.

Go listen to what Col. Hunt told Howie Carr.

After the 2nd debate, Candy walked back HER LIES and said Romney was right on Libya.

Thanks Candy, we already know he was right.  You should retire... Or join Jenny Craig.. or both.  YOU STINK as a "fair" moderator... Geebus...

75% NZers Vitamin D deficient

I am one of them...

I've had a lot of periodic pain the last couple years.  On my dietician's recent recommendation, I got a Vitamin D test last month in September. Normal range on my results is 75-90.  I was 7 or something (don't have data as I type this)...

I started a 10 day prescription of Vitamin D.  After two years of no menstrual cycle, I got mine.  (sorry blokes, yep, its bit of girl talk...).  It was a doozy.  LOTS of pain for 9-10 days.  Same pain I've had off and on for 2 years.

So, my latest theory: my uterus seems to have been trying to have its monthly cycle and it could not -perhaps due to lack of Vitamin D.  I'm scheduled to get another abdominal scan on my girlie parts to check 'em out. Ian W. explains a bit about Vitamin D:

I'm still researching this a bit more especially since I'm personally impacted.  Vitamin D affects bones - plus many other processes in your body including women's reproduction

I didn't know that, did you?  I've definitely been avoiding direct and mid day sun living in NZ since UV rays are harsher down here - and I've made myself ill by avoiding sun!  .... Ummm... Ooooops...?

most of us need at least 5-30 minutes of sun twice a week (image from here)

We humans need the sun - more than we realize.  So, I'm continuing my research and hopefully my general health will improve now so I can have a few more decades on the planet and feel better.

Gonna get this book, too:

get Ian's book here

Oh, and by the way, have you heard global "warming" stopped 16 years ago and "man made" global warming (fondly called AGW by believers) has been officially disproved

Dang, we need the sun and WARMTH to survive... Anyone screaming about man mad global cooling yet?!?!  (dats next I'm sure...)

Biden v Ryan = Joker v Batman... gee whiz

How'd that VP debate go 11-Oct-12 between Grandpa VP Joe McSmirky Biden and Calm Smarty Paul Ryan?  Biden laughed and giggled throughout the debate.  What is so funny about Iran getting nukes?  Economic crises?  Taxes?  Geepers Joe, you need some meds...

Good roundup and below picture from HillBuzz.org captures the mood:

Joker v Batman?  Definitely...

Michelle Malkin points out:

"Pundits and news anchors are expressing post-debate shock at how smirky, condescending and arrogant Vice President Joe Biden was tonight. They buzzed on Twitter at his “malarkey” rebuke of Paul Ryan’s foreign policy criticism.

But this is all old, tired recycled behavior and rhetoric from the last election cycle. Remember? Go back and read my VP debate thread from 2008. It was titled: Sarah vs. Smirky. Go back to 2008, when Biden derided Sarah Palin for her “malarkey” about Bill Ayers.

Tonight, just as in 2008, Biden sighed.

But more significantly, Biden bald-facedly lied.

In other words: Biden was…Biden."

Gowdy asks, hey why the blatant Libya lies O regime?

yep, we ALL want to know... WHO told Rice and Carney to LIE?

1st debate? R wipes floor with mumbling O rag

I cringe watching O-speak so I couldn't stand to watch whole presidential debate start to finish - I would watch O mumble for few mins, then gaaak and flip channel... so I managed just bits, clips and highlights.  Did you watch full thing?  O blew it.

Even leftists like Chris Matthews and Bill Maher stated and tweeted their guy fumbled it. (Maher: "Obama made a lot of great points tonight. Unfortunately, most of them were for Romney" and "i can't believe i'm saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter")

Boy, when you lose Matthews and Maher...

From what I did see, Romney kicked some raggedy O behind.  Big time.  Rush has good summary of how it went with an RNC video:

I got get me some extra large popcorn to watch Ryan kick dopey Joe's butte next... now that, sports fans, will be fully watch worthy.

Twitchy has hilarious round up of excuses Bammy can give for doing poorly at debate.

  • #ObamaDebateExcuses umm excuse me Jim, but I was told there would be no questions.
  • #ObamaDebateExcuses What do you mean I can't invoke Executive Privilege to stop Americans from seeing the debates?
  • It's Bush's Fault... I inherited this debate...#ObamaDebateExcuses

Glenview Illinois clear choice

Highlighted at LegalInsurrection, one of my favorite sites, is a sign posted in a Glenview, Illinois yard:

THE CHOICE IS VERY CLEAR AMERICA...

If the O regime can't win Illinois?  Now THAT would be outstanding...
