Palin derangement on the right, too

"No one on our side has an obligation to support Palin just because Palin has been a target of almost unbelievable hatred merely for being. Support whomever you want, and make the case for other Republican candidates, but don't join the mob as some people did in the wake of the Tucson shooting.

Palin is not just another potential Republican candidate. Palin is someone who has endured attacks by the mainstream media, entertainment establishment, and left-blogosphere second to no one currently active in Republican politics.

Palin's political and economic survival under this assault is why Palin's supporters in the Republican Party are more motivated than those of any other potential candidate.

And it is why people like me, who currently are open-minded as to the field of potential candidates in the absence of knowing who will run, will not support any Republican candidate during the primaries who attacks Palin. (Yes, the Lombardi Rule still takes effect after the primaries are over.)

Palin may not run, and if she runs, she may not win the nomination. But any other Republican candidate who thinks the way to win is to softly mimic the Palin haters does so at his political peril."

LETS SEE IF SHE RUNS FIRST!

IF (BIG IF) it comes down to 2012 and its Palin v Obama, you'll vote for Palin if you have any brains ...

  1. Its about time I read a blog engaging Palin as a person of courage, faith, and a genuine concern for America's well being. Yes, as a vice presidential candidate she has some missteps in a couple interviews. But the left has thrown low blow after low blow to ensure that No independence (even some conservatives) will support her. I was extremely disappointed to hear Karl Rove discuss Palin's inexperience on Fox a few moths back. We need a Sarah Palin in office. An individual who has no group to satisfy (other than the american people) and who will do what's right for this country. They shrug her off because of her inexperience. I never heard anybody shrug Ronald Reagan off because of his inexperience. Ronald Reagan, with little to no experience staredd the USSR in the face and legitimately said "look, we're not going down without a fight." and that's how we proceeded. How Mrs. Palin articulates herself reminds me so much of Reagan it's almost stunning. It has to be hard to stay in the spotlight when you are being called "stupid, unintelligent, and an accessory to murder almost daily, but she stays in it. I'll tell you one thing, as a 20 something male, I look up to Sarah Palin as much as I look up to any other political figure in the history of America.

  2. hi Nordaker, if she can win over a 20 something male, there is real hope left for America.

    Thanks for your comments!

I think Sarah would make an excellent POTUS if she decides to run. I think the silent majority would definitely support her as well.

In the mean time, guess we'll have to keep our collective eye on all the Nov 2-2010 newly elected Rs and conservatives. There is work to do!

  3. The fact that some on the right are taking aim at Palin is driving me bonkers. It is pure cynicsm from some on the right who favor other candidates. What is there not to like about Palin? I would like to see more heavy-weight thought from her on foreign policy, but beyond that, if she decides to become a 2012 candidate, she will be a force to be reckoned with.

  4. GW, it could be the elitist-globalist-cocktail party Republican party does NOT want their POWER messed with.

Its regular American folk club VERSUS the Washingon elitist club. (yep, just like Reagan!)

So which club is Sarah in?

Exactly why she scares them. She will clean house and expose them... they can't have that, can they...
