My version (I wrote today) of the Johnny Cash song:
Home, Is A Lovely Thing
We Live, in the Pacific Ring
Hills, of dormant pyre
We moved in to the Ring of Fire
We moved in to the burning ring of fire
We flew down, down, down
And our street goes higher
And we love, living, in
The Pacific ring
The ring of fire
We moved in to the burning ring of fire
We flew down, down, down
And our street goes higher
And we love, living, in
The Pacific ring
The ring of fire
We get, Tsunami alerts
Earth quakes, they sure can hurt
We hope, not to get crushed
We yearn not to get smushed
We moved in to the burning ring of fire
We flew down, down, down
And our street goes higher
And we love living in
The Pacific ring
The ring of fire
We moved in to the burning ring of fire
We flew down, down, down
And our street goes higher
And we love, living, in
The Pacific ring
The ring of fire
And we love, living, in
The Pacific ring - The ring of fire
The legendary Johnny Cash - 1963
OK so what am I on about? We got another Tsunami warning for our region TODAY. Yeah! This is the 2nd in a fortnight (2 weeks for you Americans).
It dawned me:
we now I live RIGHT ON the DAMN Pacific ring of fire.
I’ve heard the term, but Google-earth-ing NZ (above) -> check out the HUGE TRENCH New Zealand lives on! It is a TEENY bit scary looking!
So I was motivated to write Johnny Cash lyrics. Tee hee
Guess we better get our volcano-earth quake-Tsunami emergency kit together now. Yep.
