I can see these folk living in the people's white house... you betcha
Today, on a recent visit to a social media site, I saw PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) rear its ugly head in negative comments on a Sarah Palin story by a friend of a friend. They commented about a HuffPo clip of Sarah recently on O'Reilly re: the founding fathers and how the USA government is based on Christian ethics and the 10 commandments.
In "Christianity and the Constitution: The Faith of Our Founding Fathers"- "John Eidsmoe rights the faulty historical record and correctly brings us back to the roots that made America great . . . clearly demonstrates that our constitutional liberties are a direct result of our founders' moral and religious convictions which were based on a belief in a God who created heaven and earth as well as on the fixed and unchanging absolutes of God's Word."
One customer comments "Dr Eidsmoe (also a retired USAF Lt. Colonel) provides a type of scholarship that have become (lamentably) rather rare these days. His authoritative book on Christianity's historic influence on America's political foundations (in general), and on specific features of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights (in particular), uses the rather unusual approach, namely: relying solely upon the primary documents that are the best evidence concerning his topic -- i.e., the actual writings of the founding fathers and of those who actually lived with them -- in effect, Dr Eidsmoe uses the kind of documentary exhibits and eye-witness testimony that would be admissible in a court of law, as opposed to the politically fashionable HEARSAY that all-too-often gets punted back and forth in textbook pulp nowadays. As a professor of American Political Foundations I routinely use his book as THE textbook for my courses."
These "haters" probably never learned intimacy, morals or love properly from their parents. People who have successful intimate relationships, were taught and follow moral codes and experience fulfulling love in their lives - do not have these raging, hateful feelings. There is no need for it when your life is happy.
Raging, hateful people: are missing something. Perhaps their parents fell down on the job or were shite.
If you are reading this & now reallly feel angry at me... ask yourself:
Do you have a successful intimate relationship with a life partner right now?
Did your parents teach you morals (& how do you know)?
Do you practice unhealthy moral relativity eg does "anything" go as long as YOU are happy even if others get hurt?
Have you experienced fulfulling love in your life?
I am betting you are missing some or all of these components.
There is a cure: Therapy. Get some. "We" are all tired of your dumping your shite on "us". Get over yourself and your baseless anger. Flippin' heck... Stop drinking the HuffPo/DailyKos koolaid...
You'll never find peace until you figure yourself out.
In the mean time, the rest of us will be busy saving America from the domestic communist infiltration already underway. We'll save your sorry a&&es so you can live to protest another day...
Give up the lemming-ness. Think for yourself.

So back to: Sarah Palin: American Law Should Be 'Based On The God Of The Bible And The Ten Commandments'
Apparently Ms. Palin's opinions on this to O'Reilly makes these (and many) lefties really mad! Why? (Should the USA become Islamic instead of a Judeo-Christian society? uhh, nope.)
Example of the angry comments:
Tyler A. "She is an absolute, stark-raving lunatic. And the right just laps it up."
Julia Gray S. "oh shut the fuck up, Sarah."
Marianne Mather M. "i totally tried to listen to her talk but all i heard was "blah blah blah, i'm a dirty whore.""
Why this hatred for someone expressing an opinion on FOX news, the highest rated cable news network, who is probably paying good money for her opinion?
Do they envy Ms. Palin and her many accomplishments? Probably
Do they fear her truth - like evil fears the light? Probably
I sent the person suffering from PDS a link to "101 Reasons to support Sarah Palin" and challenged him to quit reading DailyKos and HuffingtonPost. I suggested if his friend honestly thinks her a "whore" then prove it. Else that opinion is just emotional mindless bullshit. I recommended his friends get anger therapy.

Pondering this misplaced blind rage, I then had a flash of understanding it.

You're writing what I'm thinking. What's the deal with the hate? I can't stand Obama, but I have no desire to denigrate him as a person. Heck, his policies give me enough fodder without having to resort to random school yard slurs.
ReplyDeleteThe fun part of this topic is that I never really think about electing leaders, per se. I am more concerned with electing people that will REMOVE government from my life. Will Sarah do that if elected? No clue, but she is infinitely better that what we currently have.
ReplyDeleteIs Sarah Palin SMARTER than Barry Obama? Exponentially, and that drives the left crazy because they have no clue what intelligence even is.
Right Girl: exactly... perhaps he's a great guy to shoot hoops with...err... play baseball with? umm... okay, have a beer with... but ALL his policies STINK and are BAD for America!
ReplyDeletePaul: Sarah may never be POTUS, but people listen to her so even if she's never in any political office any more, she can still help educate and motivate.
I have a couple other favs for POTUS. Lt. Col. Allen West would be great. Even Paul Ryan (WI) could lead - get a smart Econ/Finance person in the W.House... THERE is an idea! Crikey...
Thanks for the comments :)
Well, I can totally identify with the Palin haters. I am coming out of the closet to you: I have Obama derangement syndrome so bad, I cannot even look at his sickly face, much less listen to the sound of his cigarette smokers voice, and the way he hisses an S, without letting go with a litany of foul language. I have never been one to swear or utter racial slurs, but this man and his horse's ass wife are making me sick. I know I need to get a life. But hell, the likes of these people ruined my beautiful city, my once great state, and are not doing the the same to my beloved country. Where do I sign up for the walk for the cure?
ReplyDeletethanks for telling us how you really feel there, Meg...
ReplyDeleteI recommend you get involved in your local school board or run for local office. Make an effort to contribute in your corner of world. That's all we can do.
Look at everything with a critical eye for the truth and good luck!
To Anonymous who thinks I'm not basing my opinions on reality suggesting I read 'politifact'. Sorry, anonymous: politifact plays fast and loose with their supposed 'facts' by left leaners at the St. Petersburg times.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good example ofe 'mainstream media' which is pushing leftist propaganda - oh for a couple decades now. Didn't you get the memo?
Keep searching for truth, its out there... don't be a lemming.
p.s. yep, sure, Ms. Palin is so 'stupid' she was mayor, fought the corruption in her own party and won, was governor, a vice presedential candidate and is now highly sought after speaker, news commentator and author... yep, only really 'stupid' people accomplish so little... yep
If you're so sure of your own facts, why not run my comment and let people decide for themselves?
ReplyDeleteI can give examples of Gov. Halfterm's aversion to the truth all the livelong day -

- but as a rational person already knows, that would merely be stating the obvious.
"Left leaners at the St. Petersberg Times"? Yeah, 'cause Florida is such a blue state.
"Politifact plays fast and loose with their supposed facts"? EXAMPLES, please!
As predictable as the small minded are, I anticipate your knee-jerk response that all the examples I cite are typical "left leaners" and therefore cannot possess any modicum of TRUTH, as only Fox News has a lock on that particular commodity.
So how about some critical thought from an unimpeachably conservative publication, hmm?

People like you with a platform and an attitude have absolutely no esteem for truth, only whatever propaganda reinforces your prejudices. I truly wish there was a viably rational opposition party in America, because, unlike your side of things, there is no lockstep among the left - as far as this whole wild-eyed nonsense about the president being a radical leftist goes, Gawd - if only.
We are able to criticize his performance, because unlike righties, we believe that vigorous debate is good for a functioning democracy. Your ilk, on the other hand, will demonize anyone you disagree with with overheated hyperbole and shrill invective, as anyone deviating even in the slightest from the lemming lockstep is an unAmerican heretic. This is the province of the post-rational, which your own commentary graphically illustrates.
You haven't got the guts to post this and you know it.
brave "anonymous" comment above proves my point...
ReplyDeleteLisa, you also proved your point about the Palin haters. They continue to viciously attack her because they know she is a real threat to the left wing, socialist agenda. Fortunately, most American's do not want a nanny state. We will prevail. The truth will eventually come out. Obama will not be able to stand under the weight of all his lies forever. He will eventually be exposed, probably by his own lemmings, as he loses more and more power.
ReplyDeleteThanks Meg...
ReplyDeleteAnonymous' phrase "there is no lockstep among the left - as far as this whole wild-eyed nonsense about the president being a radical leftist goes, Gawd - if only" made me laugh out loud.
Lucky I wasn't drinking tea or wouldda spewed on my monitor...
Nope, BHO, all his czars and communist-marxist policy embracing minions aren't on the left at allllll... nope! LOL... thats a good one.
I'm listening to Governor Palin's great speech from the other day at Rosemont, IL. They love her in Chicago! cheers Meg
