"Climate: the counter consensus" by a NZ professor Robert Carter, IS available now in the UK, but NOT yet available until July 20th in NZ? Hmm... could that possibly be due to 1-July-2010 ETS start date? ... Don't want to RILE up the NZ public now with actual FACTS that AGW is just a pile of political poo poo, eh?
Available from Amazon UK:
"Product Description - The counter-consensus to quasi-scientific hype and induced panic on climate change is at last assembling. The argument is not in the first place as to whether or not climate change has been taking place, but whether any recent warming of the planet is appreciably due to human activity and how harmful it will prove. Tom Stacey, in his eloquent and provocative introduction, investigates our tendency to ascribe this and other perceived planetary crises to some inherent fault in ourselves, be it original sin or a basic moral failing. Climate Change goes on to examine, with thoroughness and impartial expertise, the so-called facts of global warming that are churned out and unquestioningly accepted, while the scientific and media establishments stifle or deride any legitimate expression of an opposing view. In doing so, the book typifies the mission of Independent Minds to replace political correctness and received wisdom with common sense and rational analysis.
About the Author - Professor Robert Carter is one of the world's leading palaeoclimatologists, and his work investigates the past cycles of the earth's unpredictable natural climate change, especially over the last few million years of planetary ice ages."
Oh, and NO, NZ GREEN PARTY, SNAP OUT OF IT... the "science" behind AGW is not "sound" you silly nitwits...
WAKE UP NZ "GREEN PARTY"! READ Professor Carter's book and ALL counter consensus information... CO2 is not a pollutant and NOT causing ANY MAN MADE warming.
Crikey, AGW pushers really need a SLAP upside the head...
Dear Lisa,
ReplyDeleteThank you for publicizing my book, and I too regret that it is not scheduled to be available in NZ until mid-July. I understand also your comment about its relevance to the intended July 1 start date of the ETS scheme.
Because the first printing has already sold out, for the moment it is available nowhere. However, the next shipment will certainly be distributed as soon as available through Amazon UK. So those of your readers who want a copy as early as possible (and just perhaps before the end of this month) are recommended to order it from there.
Thanks again, and with kind regards
Bob Carter
