spotlight on a cockroach: Brett Kimberlin

From the stories and news I've read today, Brett Kimberlin sure sounds like an American domestic terrorist who receives funds from leftist government operatives

United Liberty wonders why Why Is The State Department Partnering With Convicted Bomber Brett Kimberlin?

The Other McCain reports: "Convicted of drug smuggling and forging documents as well as numerous violent felonies, Kimberlin claims to have ceased his lifelong criminal career after being released from federal prison in 2000. Yet his habitual dishonesty – Kimberlin was first convicted of perjury at age 18 – appears unchanged. As recently as 2007, Time magazine reported that Kimberlin was gaining notoriety on progressive blog sites by “repeatedly asserting as fact things that are not true.” According to Walker, Kimberlin falsely accused him of assault after a courthouse encounter in which Kimberlin attempted to photograph Walker in violation of court policy. Walker says Maryland officials have refused to investigate his complaints of criminal actions by Kimberlin, and has asked his blog readers to contact those officials to demand action:

Attorney for Montgomery County 50 Maryland Avenue, 5th Floor Rockville, Maryland 20850 states.attorney@montgomerycountymd.gov. 240-777-7300

Until I read Walker’s story Thursday morning, I had never heard of Brett Kimberlin. The story was so obviously newsworthy that I spent the next four days writing about it, including these items:

Particularly intriguing to me was the fact that Kimberlin is the director of a 501(c)3 organization which has received as much as $558,543 a year (in 2008) in contributions, including grants from major philanthropic foundations. Several people who have examined IRS filings by Kimberlin’s Justice Through Music Project and the 501(c)4 non-profit Velvet Revolution have told me they have concerns about the “thinly documented” filings (to quote one person experienced in non-profit work who wished to remain anonymous), that appear “very sketchy” (to quote another person who has examined the IRS Form 990’s for the two tax-exempt groups)."

From Michelle Malkin: "Over the past year, Aaron Walker (who blogged as “Aaron Worthing”), Patterico, Liberty Chick, and now Stacy McCain have been targeted by convicted Speedway bomber Brett Kimberlin because they dared to mention his criminal past or assisted others who did. The late Andrew Breitbart warned about Kimberlin and company.

I have spoken directly with both Patterico and Aaron about their ongoing battles.

The mainstream press, not just the conservative blogosphere, needs to hear and report their stories.

This is a convoluted, ongoing nightmare that combines abuse of the court system, workplace intimidation, serial invasions of privacy, perjury, and harassment of family members. McCain was forced to move with his family out of his house this week, and has just gotten a small taste of what Aaron and Patterico have been enduring over the past year. Aaron and his wife were fired from their jobs after their employer feared the office would be targeted next. Convicted bomber Kimberlin has filed bogus “peace orders” against Aaron, when it is the Walkers who are the victims, not the perpetrators.

And Patterico’s plight will send chills up your spine when he is ready to tell it.

Institutional inertia, incompetence, and apathy among law enforcement officials on both coasts have exacerbated the victims’ suffering. It has moved far beyond a partisan or political story to a bottomless, Kafka-esque morass. And, via investigative journalist Matthew Vadum, it certainly doesn’t help that “progressive,” left-wing foundations that have funded Kimberlin continue to look the other way."

Spread the word: watch out for this guy and his minions.

Big Bain Backfire - Democrats really for Romney?!

Romney has assembled a good team who picked up on Democrat's own words which are not in line with Obla-bla-bla's "hate the rich" class warfare meme being pushed...

Some Democrats are FOR private equity! (funny that)...

So... in their own words;  these Dems are for Romney?!  (they won't admit it!)

Sorta related, here's another good clip with Paul Ryan from Sunday - shows common sense R ideals slap down failed D ideology:

A Constitution-wielding American public

Behold, the establishment and the media's very large enemy for the 2012 elections... a constitution-wielding American public.  Jay Clarke at American Thinker points out the TEA party isn't gone, missing or asleep, its just been steeping:

"The political earthquake of November 2010 was a Tea Party-inspired event. Since then, the grassroots movement has matured from a simple protest movement into a professional coalition of local and national groups dedicated to re-establishing fiscal responsibility, constitutional rule, and accountability of elected officials. They know what they want. They've learned from their mistakes. And their political savvy is growing.

Numerous websites, blogs, and radio programs are being created every day by average Americans intent on defending their God-given rights. Writers, authors, speakers, filmmakers, musicians, actors, and artists have all added their talents and abilities to the cause. People of every background, race, profession, and religion are joining together in a vast and powerful citizens' movement to rein in our out-of-control federal government and hold unruly politicians' feet to the fire.

The Tea Party movement is no flash in the pan. It is not a fad, and it is not temporary. It is American patriotism and citizenship on fire. And it will continue to grow in strength and influence because it is born of the American people, stoked by a love of country and fanned by a deep yearning for liberty.

As the movement grows, expect to hear the same dire predictions and "woe is me" coming from liberals, progressives, media outlets, and moderate Republican policymakers. Just as they did two years ago, they'll mourn the good old days when Republicans were known for their "bipartisanship" and willingness to compromise rather than their loyalty to the Constitution.

The socialist left and the Republican establishment have a lot to lose in this election. They may even join forces as they suddenly realize that they have much more in common with each other than either would have believed.

They both seek power. They both seek wealth and influence. Their primary motivation is self-preservation. And they share a common, dreaded adversary.

A Constitution-wielding American public."

AMEN brother!

10 arguments against homosexual 'marriage'

I found compelling arguments against homosexual 'marriage' from the North Carolina Family Policy Counsel written in 2009 by Daniel R. Heimbach who is a Professor of Christian Ethics at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and author of the book "True Sexual Morality: Recovering Biblical Standards for a Culture in Crisis".

I find Mr. Heimbach's arguments (responses) for Why Not Same Sex Marriage very compelling.  If you don't, tell me why they are wrong? Here is one:

"7. Same–Sex “Marriage” doesn’t hurt anyone."

"The Argument:

Same-sex marriage should be allowed because science has determined that homosexual attraction is as psychologically normal for homosexuals as heterosexual attraction is for heterosexuals. The American Psychological Association states, “The reality is that homosexual is not an illness.”

There is nothing mentally unnatural, abnormal, deviant, or unhealthy about homosexual attraction as compared to heterosexual attraction. And with no psychological basis for treating same-sex sexual attraction as unnatural or abnormal for homosexuals, there is nothing abnormal or deviant about allowing same-sex marriage for homosexuals.

The Response:

The APA actually changed its position on homosexuality by caving to political pressure without any valid scientific basis. It is not scientifically true that homosexual behavior can be classified as being biologically “natural” in the same way as heterosexual behavior for two reasons.

The first reason is because there is no scientifically valid basis for thinking desire to stimulate sexual passion between members of the same sex is caused by naturally occurring biological factors. Researchers have speculated but have never found any scientifically valid cause, and there is a great body of genuinely valid scientific evidence linking homosexual attraction to abuse or acquired taste.

The second reason is because homosexual sex is physiologically unnatural for everyone. That is, our bodies are not shaped to have sex the way homosexuals have sex. Homosexual behavior is biologically destructive to human health, and biologically destructive behavior is biologically “unnatural” by functional definition, since it is natural for biological organisms to favor those actions that prolong or maintain life. It is also the case that valid scientific research does not support the idea that sexual orientation is an unchangeable or immutable condition. Rather it shows that therapeutic approaches taken to reorient feelings of homosexual attraction toward heterosexual attraction have achieved significant results, and nearly all individuals who self-identify as “homosexual” end up reorienting as heterosexual by the time they reach old age."

Read the rest here.

My own view is very simple:  human biology.  1 man + 1 woman is nature's design for human beings.  A man supplies the sperm; woman supplies the egg and a baby is the outcome.  Marriage is the society unit which works best to raise this outcome: a child.  Studies prove it.  Simple.

Harvey: If I were the devil from 1965... still true

Marathon Pundit: Occupy Chicago May Day march pics you won't see in the establishment media
The push for communism -> is alive and well in Chicago and other cities at their recent violent promoting "May Day festivities"...  **sigh**

This is my 1000th post since I started blogging couple of years ago...

This blog has been a great way to vent my frustration with the numbskulls in America who "voted" in a fake, usurper illegal form of the devil himself into the people's White House in 2008.

image from Facebook - where many patriots post lots of center/right truth now
Is enough of the American electorate awake yet to stop the tide in 2012?  They woke up in 2010 with historic elections putting T.E.A. party conservatives in state office and congress.  But, the devil is still very much running the show in Washington.  Reaganite Republican posted this Paul Harvey video from 1965 which is still very relevant today...

Communists have purposely infiltrated and yes, are still trying to take over and "America Can Survive Barack Obama - It Cannot Survive An Electorate And Mindest That Elected Him"

She is at a precipice...  You have a choice Nov 2012, America, what will you choose?
